Thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) has the characteristics of light weight, flat panel, low power consumption, no radiation and excellent display quality. With continuous technology development, the rate of high-quality products is increasing. Coupling with the emergence of some new technologies, TFT-LCD has made great progress in time response, contrast, luminance and visual angle.

By filling with liquid crystal between the polarizer plates which are perpendicular to each other between the upper and lower fences, and using electric field to control the rotation of liquid crystal branches, the direction of light can be changed. In this way, electric fields in different sizes can form different colors. As the liquid crystal itself cannot emit light, it can be displayed under the modulation of the external light. In the whole display process, the liquid crystal acts as a voltage-controlled light valve.
